Câu tổng hợp là câu có ít nhất hai mệnh đề độc lập và ít nhất một mệnh đề phụ thuộc

1. Although I like to go camping, I haven't had the time to go lately, and I haven't found anyone to go with.

independent clause: "I haven't had the time to go lately"
independent clause: "I haven't found anyone to go with"
dependent clause: "Although I like to go camping... "

2. We decided that the movie was too violent, but our children, who like to watch scary movies, thought that we were wrong.

independent clause: "We decided that the movie was too violent"
independent clause: "(but) our children thought that we were wrong"
dependent clause: who like to watch scary movies

3. Though Mitchell prefers watching romantic films, he rented the lastest spy thriller, and he enjoyed it very much

independent clause: he rented the lastest spy thriller
independent clause: (and) he enjoyed it very much
dependent clause: though Mitchell prefers watching romantic films

4. Laura forgot her friend's birthday, so she sent her a card when she finally 
remembered.

3. The Air Force interceptors streaked into the sky, and the ground crew watched the formation until it was out of sight.
